Storage and inspection of bends
If the elbow is stored for a long time, the product needs to be regularly inspected. During use, the exposed processing surface must be kept clean and dirt must be removed in a timely manner. The elbow should be neatly stored indoors in a ventilated and dry place. Stacking or outdoor storage is strictly prohibited.
Elbows often need to be kept dry and ventilated, and when used, they need to be kept clean and tidy. They should be stored according to their accurate storage methods. During installation, elbows and elbows can be directly installed on the pipeline according to their connection methods.
The elbow shall be installed according to the position where it is used. Generally, the product can be installed at any position in the pipeline, but it needs to be convenient for manipulation and inspection. When using, it is necessary to note that the medium flow direction of the cut-off elbow should be upward from the bottom of the longitudinal valve flap.
The elbow of the elbow can only be installed horizontally. During installation, it is necessary to pay attention to its tightness, which can effectively prevent its flashing and leakage to a certain extent, which will directly affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
The globe valve, ball valve, and gate valve of the elbow can only be fully closed or fully opened during use, and are not allowed to be used for flow regulation. This can effectively prevent erosion of their sealing surfaces to a certain extent, which will accelerate wear.
During the processing of bent pipes, the bending should be uniform and there should be no wrinkles. The difference between the cross-sectional size and the outer diameter of the bent pipe must be controlled within 5% - 10%. The difference between the thickness of the pipe wall before and after bending should be controlled within 10% of the thickness of the pipe wall before bending or generally ≤ 15%.
