Operation Method of U-shaped Elbow Copper Tube for Elbow Bending
Do you know how to bend U-bend copper pipe fittings? Today, I will introduce the operation method of red copper U-shaped pipe bending for you. U-shaped copper tubes have high pressure resistance, high temperature resistance, no leakage, no combustion support, corrosion resistance, and other characteristics. They can be used in a wide range of environments.
A pipe bender is required. For pipes with a diameter of less than 19.05 and a wall thickness of less than 19.05 copper pipes, it is necessary to use a pipe bender because it is easy to form dead bends. Hand bending is strictly prohibited when bending pipes.
Due to the relatively soft pipeline, it is not easy to form a dead bend for copper pipes with a diameter smaller than 12.7, so manual bending can be used.
Operation method: Select a pipe bender of suitable size, adjust the two handles of the pipe bender to the scale of 0, place the copper pipe into the pipe bender clamp slot, fix one handle with one hand, and apply force with the other hand until the bending angle reaches the required value.
① Φ 6.35~ Φ 12.7% copper pipe can be directly bent manually;
② Φ 6.35~ Φ 22.2% copper pipe can be processed using a manual pipe bender.
Note: Theoretically, copper pipes that can be bent by manual pipe benders can also be bent by hand, but in the process, the radius of manual pipe bending is too large and it is easy to form dead bends.
U-shaped copper tube has the advantages of special smooth surface, small flow resistance, large conveying capacity, material saving and energy consumption reduction. Used to connect important pipe components in copper pipes.
