What is the defrosting effect of Shengzhou evaporator?
1. Effects of frost on refrigeration systems
During normal operation of the cooling system in a cold storage, the surface temperature of the evaporator is much lower than the dew point temperature of the air, and moisture in food and air is separated out and condensed on the pipe wall. When the temperature of the pipe wall is below 0, the dew condenses into frost. As frost is also the result of normal operation of the refrigeration system, a small amount of frost is allowed on the evaporator surface.
Because the thermal conductivity of frost is too small, which is 1% or even a fraction of that of metal, the frost layer forms a greater thermal resistance. Especially when the frost layer is thick, the cooling capacity of the evaporator is not easy to release like heat preservation, which affects the cooling effect of the evaporator and prevents the freezer from reaching the required temperature. At the same time, the evaporation of refrigerant in the evaporator will also weaken, and the incompletely evaporated ammonia liquid will be sucked in by the compressor, causing a water hammer accident.
2. Impact of frost on local environment
There are many methods for melting frost, such as artificial frost, refrigerant heat frost, water frost, electric heat frost, and so on. For small cooling systems, manual defrosting and electrothermal melting can be used, but only when the system is stopped. For large cooling systems, refrigerants should be used for hot defrosting and water defrosting. Due to the heat source of the compressor exhaust type hot melt frost, the hot melt frost of the refrigerant should be carried out under the working conditions of the cooling system.
In this way, no matter what defrosting method is used, it will affect the refrigeration temperature, especially the cold and warm defrosting. If the warehouse is divided, some warehouses will stop cooling, while others will melt the frost, which will take longer to melt and have a greater impact on the temperature of the warehouse. Excessive fluctuations in warehouse temperature can affect the quality of food in the warehouse, especially the quality of fresh food. Wash the melted frost in a timely manner. Otherwise, the warehouse floor will freeze.
